Each year our Grade 6 class participates in an intensive french program from September until February where they spend 50% of their day learning conversational French as well as french writing skills.They worked diligently on a number of different projects such as daily journal, Thanksgiving sheet, family mobiles and writing about their family’s food preferences. 

Our Grade 6 class will continue to learn 200 minutes of French each week throughout the rest of their time at OCS to continue to build on the skills they acquired during this intensive French experience. They have much to celebrate!

Mme. Speirs considers it a privilege to teach our students and is incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the growth of their French skills over the past 5 months. 

The class celebrated with a Covid friendly activity, playing outside and having individual treats.
