Extended Kindergarten Program (EKP)

This is an optional program for students enrolled in JK and SK at Ottawa Christian School and will be run by an Early Childhood Educator on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:25 a.m. until 3:10 p.m. during the school year.

(September 6, 2011 - June 21, 2012, with the exception of Thursday, October 27, 2011).
EKP will be an educationally rich environment with lots of opportunities for exploration, discovery and play. Your child will experience drama, music, story time, computers, puppetry, crafts, centres, gym and more! Although new concepts will not be learned during this time, lessons taught in the regular kindergarten program will be reinforced through this program.

Cost per student
Full time - 2 days/week for the school year $2500.00
Half time - 1 day/week for the school year $1300.00
Drop-in rate - $35/day (subject to availability)

FINANCIAL POLICY

Please attach 10 post-dated cheques the first dated July 1, 2011 to the last dated April 1, 2012 for 1/10th of the amount. An annual lump sum payment for the full year’s cost can be provided on July 1st, 2011. Other payment schedules are acceptable only if the amount paid at any time exceeds that of the schedule defined above. There will be no refunds given for non-attendance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Once you have registered, you are obligated to provide a minimum of three months’ notice of intention to withdraw from the program.
